"Dave Gabriel's DC33.33 runs through 13 gasping, spluttering synth tracks with tongue in cheek titles referencing the generally nonverbal lexicon of distortion and feedback in "World's Greatest Grandpa's Greatest Hits," "Unopened Box of Ice-Cold Rubbers," and "Oft-Misattributed Sitcom Catchphrase." There's the stop-start signal jam of "txt.xing," the squealing crawl of "Pony Scribble" and the rising square wave sweeps of "Nautical Thread." His track times stick to the lower end of pop song convention, allowing them to growl, crackle and snarl through directionless assaults of non-musical sound."
